Like every other person, I have a couple of New Year’s Resolutions, which are:

1) to live life the most elegant way possible.
2) to think of only things that make me happy.
3) to take pleasure in the small things.
4) to have courage.

It’s very ambiguous, but within each, they hold the 100s of other specifics that I want to accomplish.

Sugar-filled Arteries

For Halloween a friend had a great idea of going door-to-door for the surrey food bank and for just going around 2 blocks, between the 3 of us, we got around 53 perishable items and so much candy. i have been having candy for breakfast, lunch and dinner for the past two days, i’m so sick of sugar.

I think we are going to make this a tradition and will get more people involved, it’s a fun way to go trick-or-treating and to do a good deed. It didn’t take any work at all, though the cans were a bit heavy.

I dressed up as a mime on a budget of zero dollars so I think I fared pretty well, I used this light purple highlight cream I had mixed and layered on with thick sunscreen and voila, white face paint, plus a red lipstick from a gift set I got from Shiseido and black eyeliner. I felt like a kid again.

A couple days ago instead of studying for my midterm for Bus 362 (Information Systems Analysis and Design) I stayed up until 5am procrastinating and collaging photos as a joke for one one of my friends. My exam was at 12:30pm.

Here’s the photo:

It started with a conversation about how she was going to fight the masters this weekend to earn her cord for capeoira and I told her that I couldn’t imagine her fighting, I could only see her throwing flowers at them because she’s possibly the sweetest, gentilist person and I couldn’t imagine her being aggressive in any way. Honestly, I’m so impressed that she’s doing capeoira, she’s just amazing and definitely way more hard core than me, that’s for sure.

I think I’m going to start doing super hero collages for my friends, it’s fun to do random silly things to put smiles on people’s faces.

Also, I’m in love with this music video! The animation is stunning, it gorgeosity expands the capacity of my mind!
